Wow, great knives and great value!!! I’ve been looking for a professional quality knife set (not made in China) for a while and this is it! I’m 99.9% satisfied with this purchase! I say 99.9% because while the case it comes in is cool, it’s not very practical for me. I would have rather had a block to put them in. It comes with a magnetic strip that I would love to use, but unfortunately I don’t really have the space to mount it… and my wife is getting tired of the case so I better get a block soon I’m glad I waited to find something other than Henckels and Wustoff – both of which seemed too expensive for what you get. These knives are very high quality (made in Germany) and I’m sure they will be the last set I ever have to buy. I base this statement on comparison with the higher-end ($200+) Henckels/Wustoff. I would definitely make this purchase again and highly recommend this set. … Now if I can just get my wife to stop throwing the knives in the drying rack with the silverware. Be...

Steak, Potatoes, Carrots, etc – Like a knife through butter! As soon as I received this item, I started using it to cut Steak, Potatoes, Carrots and other veggies. I was amazed how little effort was required to slice these. The cuts were so precise that the cut portions stuck to the knife blade, so one has to develop a technique which slighly pushes the cut portion away as the knife descends through the meat or whatever you are cutting. love it I was in need of a new cutting board and bought this because it looked like it was high quality, and I was not disappointed. It’s solid and sturdy, the silicone edges keep the board firmly in place while cutting, and it’s bamboo composition doesn’t dull the blades on my knives as quickly as other plastic cutting boards i have. Good cutting board Got nick marks very quickly. I went ahead and bought some oil to treat it but the nicks are still visible. Note that this is hand washable only. Great bamboo cutting board I purchased this cutting board for my husband who loves to cook! He is very happy with the quality and loves that it does not slip when he uses it!
