Berghoff 12 Piece Chef Knife Kit



Wow, great knives and great value!!!

I’ve been looking for a professional quality knife set (not made in China) for a while and this is it! I’m 99.9% satisfied with this purchase! I say 99.9% because while the case it comes in is cool, it’s not very practical for me. I would have rather had a block to put them in. It comes with a magnetic strip that I would love to use, but unfortunately I don’t really have the space to mount it… and my wife is getting tired of the case so I better get a block soon ;-)


I’m glad I waited to find something other than Henckels and Wustoff – both of which seemed too expensive for what you get. These knives are very high quality (made in Germany) and I’m sure they will be the last set I ever have to buy. I base this statement on comparison with the higher-end ($200+) Henckels/Wustoff. I would definitely make this purchase again and highly recommend this set.


… Now if I can just get my wife to stop throwing the knives in the drying rack with the silverware.

Berghoff 12 piece set is a good deal

I’ve worked in professional kitchens in the past and appreciate the need for quality knives, but I couldn’t afford the cost. I’ve had my Berghoff’s for a couple of years now and I’m continually impressed. They hold an edge well. They are lightweight enough to prevent fatigue, but heavy and solid enough to seemingly cut by themselves. Now that I’m back in the kitchen, I’m using them more than ever. Best kitchen investment I’ve ever made.

I got these knives as a gift…..I am a chef and have been looking for a cheaper but good quality knife set, and for the money it doesn’t get any better than these….I own some henckel knives and these are as good if not better than those…they are very sharp and seem to hold an edge very well…So if you are a chef or just someone who loves to cook I recommend you get these as a great addition to your kitchen!!!

Shun Ken Onion 7-Inch Cleaver

Chop I’ve wanted a nice cleaver since I saw the Mortal Kombat character ‘Meat’ hacking away at his foes with a sweet pair of them, or was it the Swedish Chef recklessly flailing away in the kitchen on the Muppet Show in the mid 70′s?
