Safety for cutting meat Look, you stab yourself it’s not going to stop it, but if you’re just being clumsy while you’re cutting meat, you’ll keep all your fingers and their bits. Yeah, it costs more than some of the others, but you can throw this in the dishwasher, and I feel confident that in 20 years I’ll still be using this and it’ll still be keeping my fingers safe from dismemberment. Nice case! This case is so nice and it holds all my knives and shapening steel nicely. I was not disappointed. It’s there, but not quite there. Ive got a full set of Mundial cutlery and the case works well for what I have. But there are several draw backs, the elastic holsters line both edges of the case which is ok but if you have anything larger than the 6in chef knife you’re over lapping the other side. The slots for the knife handles themselvs are very tight so you have to watch your fingers putting your knives in unless you pull everything out to put it back in, and the zipper is a little stiff, but that should losten with time. It was a little smaller and pricy for what they are advertising which int what I expected considering it’s supposed to hold upto 16 knives(I own 12 and can only fit my kitchen knives on one side). A great fit for this mobile home-chef I purchased this knife carrying case looking for something to haul my kitchen tools from friends house to family Thanksgiving get-togethers – it’s gonna work great. The material is sturdy, the pockets appear to be well designed and care taken in the construction process to provide strong seams. Perfect case for the perfect tools I used to be a culinary professional back in my day and have grown fond of my knives and the tools i have. Although i hung up my chef’s jacket, i still enjoy cooking and love going to friends places and putting on a show! It used to be a pain in the ass to carry all my knives and other tools to different places, UNTIL i bought this case. I stress the word CASE because thats what this is, a case and NOT a knife roll which i hate. The knife case is well designed and is made of sturdy material. The outside of the case is rigid, but the internal flap is soft and drapes over your knives to protect them from whatever… It also comes with a handy shoulder strap if you need it. Perfect Gift for a Chef! I bought this as a Christmas gift for my fiance, a chef at a large resort. His other case was too small to include anything other than knives, so his fish spat, ring molds and other essentials were either left at home or he had to *insert gasp here* use the ones provided by his employer. Any chef will tell you that using house tools is just not something that is done if you can afford your own equipment. This bag fits everything he could possibly need and more. So far he has had the bag for several months and it shows very little sign of wear, in spite of the fact that it is used several times a day. Poor product – From a long time user Kapoosh works great for the first few months, or if you hardly ever use it. But my wife and I are avid cooks and discovered that, after about 3 months of use, the product fails miserably. The problem? All those little spaghetti-like strands that hold the knives become crossed with one another and when you stick a knife down into it, those strands get cut. So when you go to pull the knife out a bunch of half strands come with it. Its a great idea, especially for people who seldom cook. But for avid home chefs, count on strands wearing out in just a few months. Just use carefully knife and utensil holder work well if used with care. Must insert knives slowly as noted in other reviews. It works well if you don’t “Slam Bam Thank You Mam” the knives into the holder. Neat Product but already failing I really like this thing but it is already falling apart at the edge: the front left corner came apart and we had to duct tape it back together. Click to Edi...

Great bag, but who needs just 10 pockets? I bought this bag many years ago so that I could easily transport my knives here and there whenever I may need them. I still use it today for taking my knives to work and back everyday. This thing is so durable that after so long of constantly using it, there is not one single sign of wear on it other than a hole in the inner cover from when my 12″ blade pushed through. I do have a few minor complaints about it, and here they are: The Pockets are too generic. I have many different brands of knives, and I could understand if those didn’t fit perfectly in this case, but I also own eight or nine Globals, and arranging them so that none of them touch or fall out of their pockets is absolutely impossible. My paring knife and bird’s beaks are constantly falling out of the pocket and rattling around in the kit. The larger knives are OK, but you may have trouble keeping them from touching. It has a pocket for miscellaneous stuff, and it’s fairly decen...

All 3 compartments are accessible from one zipper, so you don’t need 7 sq feet of space to open it all the way & find what you’re looking for…the only downside of that is that you’re hanging all your hopes on one zipper & if it fails you you’re sunk! But it feels strong and secure. Everything from my old Koobi Kit (whose zippers DID fail me) fit neatly inside, so it’s roomy….can’t wait to get out there and break it in! Good sachet I’ve bought this article a few weeks ago and it fullfill my expectations but it came with some minor sewing defects that I had to repair No complaints here Fits everything my partner needs for work and more.
