Nice but limited Well made, unfortunately it could not accommodate all of our knives. The Bamboo was very attractive when compared to other "’wooden" knife racks. Organize the Knives We’ve had this knife organizer for over a year now, and I’m really glad we bought it. It fits into the drawer nicely and keeps the knives sorted. There are slots for smaller knives between the larger ones. It’s simple and works well. It’s better to have knives stored in a drawer than up on a wall in a kitchen at home. Eye Pleasing Knife Drawer When I open my knife drawer, my friends exclaim “ooh, Ahh” how beautiful. This product makes for a great quantity of knifes and looks terrfic. Also I have easy access to all my knves. Not thrilled with J.K. Adams Knife Tray The item pictured is the J.K. Adams Medium Wave Ash Wood Knife Tray, not the large version. With the large, the steel sits in the middle of the tray with room for three large and four small knives on either side. It is also a lighter shade of wood than depicted. It can be seen on J.K. Adam’s website, but even that one doesn’t match what was actually delivered in one – to me – significant respect. The dowels that run cross-wise though the bottom of the product are not flush with the sides of the tray as shown, but rather stick out nearly one quarter of an inch on either side. This not only gives the tray a less polished, craft fair kind of look, it brings the total width to just under ten inches (as opposed to the 9 1/2 inches specified) wh...

Nice quality – beware dimensions are not accurate I purchased 2 of these for a narrow drawer. They are very nice beech wood, but they are 4″ wide, not 3 1/2″ as stated on Amazon. As a result, I could one use one of them and had to return one. I like the quality, I am just disappointed I can’t fit 2 in a drawer. Actual dimensions are 17″l x 4″w x 1 13/16″h. I love this knife holder First a disclaimer: I have an unbranded knife holder that looks just like this that I got at Target. After remodeling my kitchen, I was determined to avoid a lot of stuff living on the counter. Including my ugly old knife block. I keep the knife holder and all my knives in the drawer right at my main workspace. It is easy to get the knives in and out and to see which one I’m getting (blades not hidden in a knife block.) Unlike magnetic strips, there are no exposed blades. It makes really good use of drawer space. Very simple item that really adds to the efficiency and order of my kitchen. Excellent design, e...

Wonderful experience with Hidden Treasure Emporium I cure my own prosciutto-style ham, and have been looking for one of these ham holders for a long time. Recently, I visited Paris’ oldest kitchen supply store, Dehillerin, and saw this model for sale for 210 Euro. I like this style more than the others I’ve seen, so checked the price on Amazon to see if the 210 Euro price was a fair one. I found that Hidden Treasure Emporium had a few left for sale of this exact model for far, far less. I ordered it. It was shipped promptly, arrived in good shape, and will be perfect for what I need. The marble base is heavy, and the stainless steel grips very solid. The wood handles are well-secured to the grips by rivets. Nicely made. Moreover, when I posed a question about pricing to the HTE folks, they responded very quickly to address my question. All told, I paid well less than half of the usual retail for this product. Nice looking, matches Rachel Ray cookware, CUTS NICELY Our kitchen tools, utensils, and pans are all Rachel Ray orange cookware, so these knives were wonderful to have. We’ve used them only once so far, but they slice steak very nicely and are easy to hold with the soft grips. Nice steak knives These steak knives are sharp and feel great in the hand. I was hesitant to order the "tangerine" color at first, but I’ve come to really like the color once these came in. Love them! I bought a set for myself, and recently bought another set for my mom.
