Global G-668/10 – Knife Roll with 10 Pockets



Great bag, but who needs just 10 pockets?

I bought this bag many years ago so that I could easily transport my knives here and there whenever I may need them. I still use it today for taking my knives to work and back everyday. This thing is so durable that after so long of constantly using it, there is not one single sign of wear on it other than a hole in the inner cover from when my 12″ blade pushed through. I do have a few minor complaints about it, and here they are:


The Pockets are too generic. I have many different brands of knives, and I could understand if those didn’t fit perfectly in this case, but I also own eight or nine Globals, and arranging them so that none of them touch or fall out of their pockets is absolutely impossible. My paring knife and bird’s beaks are constantly falling out of the pocket and rattling around in the kit. The larger knives are OK, but you may have trouble keeping them from touching.


It has a pocket for miscellaneous stuff, and it’s fairly decent size for fitting…

Pretty nice

It’s a little bulkier than I thought it would be. I would recommend it only for transporting knives rather than a permanent storage place for them. It is well-made, and keeps the knives from scratching each other.

Chop I’ve wanted a nice cleaver since I saw the Mortal Kombat character ‘Meat’ hacking away at his foes with a sweet pair of them, or was it the Swedish Chef recklessly flailing away in the kitchen on the Muppet Show in the mid 70′s?
