this is such a wonderful addition to my music room… as beautiful as pictured.. sharp tone as I expected from wood… rich tone that was not expected.. the shipping took sometime having come from Thailand… but arrived earlier than was promissed…will be looking at other things they have to offer

Incredible Knife, Just Too Short for my Tomato I am a big fan of Global knives. They are wonderfully balanced, expertly sharp, and heaven to hold. This knife is no exception. I have quite a collection, myself. However, to call this knife a "Tomato Knife," at only 3inches long, is nuts in my book; that is, of course, unless you’re talking about cherry tomatoes! Great knives but beware… These knives are fantastic but beware of the company shipping them. The Knife Store is company that ships this particular item (for Amazon) right now and they no longer carry these knives. Instead, when you order the classic knives you get the identical ones with the stainless steel handles… If these are the first Shun knives you’re ordering… no biggie… but if you’re trying to complete a collection just be aware that they won’t contact you before shipping the wrong knives so you’ll have to deal with the return process if you want to fix it.
