Healthy Legend Black Blade Deluxe Ceramic kitchen knife set with 4″, 5″, 6″ knives



Good looking for sure!

Never had ceramic before, and I really liked the black color of the knives, plus the many good reviews regarding this particular set. I went back and forth, forth and back, but I knew it would be ceramic knives, if only for the novelty and the looks. Bought Bamboo cutting boards awaiting the arrival of this set, which took till the last day of their possible delivery date. The knives are almost black, and I am almost sure I received 4 knives plus a stand that works quite well, as opposed of what some reviews had said. The sharpness of these knives becomes apparent as soon as you use them for the first time. For someone who always used the conventional knives, these look so much better, they do add a touch of class, if I may, to the proceedings of cutting, slicing, etc. They recommend to wash them by hand and I can see why. Besides, who would be lazy enough to want to wash these good looking knives in the dishwasher? All it takes is less than a minute, is very easy to keep them clean…

WELL WORTH IT

This is the 2nd set I have purchased for myself. Some words of caution they are very sharp & require a little more care then the usual crap dull knife. You drop it you will break it – learned that the hard way – I do not blame the craftsmanship for this just the characteristics of ceramic knives & my own clumsiness. Once again to the sharpness keep these far away from young kids they are scary sharp – & also be responsible yourselves after all these are knives – the difference with these though is they really cut. I have also broken a plate or two by cutting a cooked frozen pizza by pushing down or even slicing to hard.


Now the truth is all these cautions may seem like much BUT they also go to the ability of these knives to perform their expected tasks. I have sent these as gifts with these cautions & all I have given them too love them as much as I do now. My last set I have had about 6 months & they continue to be as sharp as when purchased. Nice quality!

I purchased these knives as a holiday gift for my son who believes he is a chef. We both were quite impressed with the quality. He loved the color. Wasn’t sure from just looking at the picture if the quality would be good or bad, but took a chance. Glad I did. Unfortunantly, I can’t speak on the performance since I won’t be using them.

Chop I’ve wanted a nice cleaver since I saw the Mortal Kombat character ‘Meat’ hacking away at his foes with a sweet pair of them, or was it the Swedish Chef recklessly flailing away in the kitchen on the Muppet Show in the mid 70′s?
