Beautiful and functional knife!

Bought this for my husband and he love, love, loves it! Very smart design, comfortable to use and has a great edge. Highly recommend.

Amazing

This knife is simply amazing. I use it to fillet salmon and had to readjust my style because of the sharpness of the blade compared to my old, dull, onee (caught the skin the first time). The handle is quite nice because of the weird angles associated with filleting fish and the “weird angles” of the handle. I also used it to clean 100lbs of chicken breast today just to see if there was any hand fatigue associated with prolonged use (considering buying more) and there wasn’t. It’s a natural fit in my hands. Probably going to go ahead and get the boning knife next.

took a chance on these knives I think $100 knives are hype so I took a chance on these more moderately priced knives and I believe it was worth it. They are the most expensive knives I have and now I have two of the utility knives (did give one away though), one of the boning knife, and one of the 15cm kitchen knife. You have to be careful with these knives because once they start cutting they will slide through, so you have to have good control and positioning or will cut yourself. The bad is that the one 17cm utility knife I’m using came with a not so perfect blade though it’s still very sharp. It has like three tiny knicks that are hard to see. The blades are thinner then normal blades but I was hoping the material be harder then this. Another problem is that even after washing/drying the utility knife after every use there is a tiny spot on the blade with a small discoloration in the metal. I wonder if it was used for something it shouldn’t have been used for or maybe the crafting

Masanobu VG-10 Sujihiki 10.5″ (27cm) – Right

Masanobu sujijiki 10.5 Great knife. You get what you pay for with this one. Retains edge for long time. Easy to sharpen. Use only waterstone for best results. My buddy has the same knife and he used an oil stone and gave his steel a nice shine. Excuse my sarcasm. Anyway, if you have the money to spend, I would spend it on this one.
