I bought this for my parents for Christmas and they love it! It has replaced all their old, dull knives.

Awesome Quality, reasonable price

Awesome tool; tang is well weighted so feels just right in the hand, sharp as can be. I think i will also buy a 5" one. For the money, I believe this to be a good value ("you get what you pay for").

Excellent knife!

When I received this knife it seemed really big and I was not sure if I was going to like it. I love this knife. The ergonomic handle makes such a big difference. The quality of this knife is exceptional.

Victorinox knife with slicing guide This is a very nice, very sharp knife, with attached slicer guide; very easy to change settings and though it took me a little practice to master cutting (when to angle), it is working very well. I use it primarily to slice my homemade bread, as I like thinner slices than the traditional bread slicer guides provide; it is also less bulky to store. Plus this knife can be used for meats and cheese too. I figure that some day my kids will be able to have it, so all points figured in, a very good value for the money. Joyce Chen 50-0052, Chinese Kitchen Knife, 8-Inch

Bought as gift I bought this Joyce Chen Chinese Kitchen Knife (clever) after owning one for the past 11 years as a wedding gift. Over the years I have used the one I own for everything from slicing tomatoes to separating rib steaks. I know it is not recommeded for bone cutting/breaking but it has worked well and resharpened well. I am very satisfied with the one I own. The only downside is with the wooden handle, like all wood it takes some extra care. If you let it dry out it will crack but with a little TLC and mineral oil it is okay. A decent knife, especially for the price. I bought this knife about 5 years ago and, along with a paring knife, it’s the only knife that I use. It’s not fancy, it’s not expensive, but it gets the job done. I’m almost embarrassed to admit, but I’ve done nothing but hone it until I bought a whetstone a few weeks ago.
