Best vegetable knife I have ever used

This knife lends testament to the quality of Japanese blades. this knife is not only beautiful to hold and to look at, it is also the most efficient chopper I’ve ever used. Although made of wood, the handle is quite ergonomic and fits very nicely in the hand. the blade is thin, strong, and tapers to an edge so keen that I was initially afraid to use it. it cuts so cleanly and efficiently that I it makes cutting vegetables FUN. I feel that the wooden scabbard is a really nice touch as it allows me to protect the knife without the need for a knife block.

Great knife!

Beautiful knife, sharp enough to shave a few feet off Gojira. Safely and securely packaged, almost cut my finger off testing the edge out of the box. Precise enough to slice as thinly as you like, and comfortable enough in your hand to prep an entire Xmas dinner in one shot.

This is an excellent, well balanced, comfortable, and above all incredibly sharp knife. A perfect tool for a Garde Manger such as myself or the home cook looking for a nice knife that if properly cared for will last a lifetime.
